One of the unspoken agreements between Hoon and myself is that neither of us try to look "good" for photos. The idea is to look as silly, stupid, or ugly as possible. The results, under those conditions, are always satisfying.


Choff on Ellwood again

Take the two photos shown here. I especially love the one above, where I use my eyes to convey stupidity; under Hoon's direction and placement of the mirror, stupidity reaches a new height. The picture below was painful for me--Hoon had the mirror mashed against my face pretty hard and I had to endure it all with my eyes wide open. This one is arguably the best of several takes--we weren't able to erase completely the distracting shadow on my forehead--and a personal favorite of Hoon's.
