Providing What Life Does Not

Hoon's home in Richmond is full of stuff he's collected; among his treasures are the items I sent him over the years. I made this Krusty cigar ashtray for Hoon for his 50th b'day; it's still one of my favorite pieces of art I've produced. I don't think it's seen the business end of a cigar since it arrived at his place.

Krusty and Mr Teenie

While I'm on the subject: this is a plate I made for my sister Ruthie for Xmas several years ago. On it I reproduced the cover of a Little Lulu comic from 1949. I wish now that I'd applied more than one coat of paint, to deepen the color more; but frankly, it looks great anyway.
